Mark Smeed - Company Director

Mark Smeed is the joint founder of Webx Solution Ltd.

Mark benefits from a rich background in computing technology and has an intuitive understanding of computing language and program development.

His interest in computing and web development began at the age of 8 and continued through his childhood to his teenage years where he studied a BSc accredited course in Computer Studies and Computer Architecture. Completing his degree 2003, he naturally went to work as a freelance programmer building and constructing corporate computer infrastructure and software development.

Mark leads and supervises the development aspect of Webx Solution Ltd; incorporating tailor made bespoke web based applications, customising, template development, debugging and tweaking pre-built product to suit customer needs. Also Mark is an avid contributor and believer in the open-source movement.

Other Interests and Hobbies:

Mark enjoys long walks & cycling. Never far from his digital camera, Mark is also a computer & film buff.

Paul Franklin - Company Director

Paul is the CEO founder and one of the company directors of Webx Solution Ltd.

He benefits from years of experience in Project Management and draws from a rich creative based background. Therefore, he is well positioned to consider both of these matters when proposing web-based solutions for clients.

In addition, he holds accreditations in Personal Development, Leadership & Administration. As well as being a gifted web designer he is the individual who generally coordinates projects and keeps things running smoothly.

Other Interests and Hobbies

Music: contemporary Jazz / singing / drums and percussion, photography, travelling, personal development and, most importantly, family.

Nina Franklin - Company Secretary and Legal Advisor

Nina is the secretary of Webx Solution Ltd and advises on legal requirements surrounding the operation of the company.

Nina has a degree in Law and obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Westminster Law School in 2000. Nina has since then gone on to qualify as a solicitor in September 2003, practicing in areas of Family and Housing Law.

Nina has extensive experience in people management, organisation of events, interacting and communicating and mediating with members of public of all ages.

Other Hobbies & Interests:

Piano, drums, Jazz, singing, reading, travel and teaching

Matthew Lovell – Design

Matthew is a firm believer that any problem can be solved using some creativity. His flare for design has been honed and enhanced through his experiences at various design studios around the country from Aberdeen, Manchester and London.

Matthew has his BA (Hons) in Graphic Design from the much-acclaimed Blackpool & The Fylde College course.

Other Interests & Hobbies:

Music - guitar and percussion. Sport - running, bouldering, hill walking, football. Hobbies - travelling, photography, typography.

Jon Batham – Copywriter

Jon is a 42-year-old freelance sports journalist and is the copywriting arm of Webx Solution Ltd.

Married to Anne, Jon was a late starter in sports journalism, but this and his previous experience as a church pastor means he has a wealth of experience in creating and editing written material.

Therefore, you could say he works with the necessary nitty gritty of your website text, while Paul, Mark and Matthew do the pretty bits!

Theatre, entertaining, Murder Mystery games & singing.
