Over the last few months the project has taken an incredible leap forward as we have worked tirelessly to bring together all kinds of astonishing features!

It's seen many dramatic transformations with the arrival of the JCK Manager, a new cutting-edge content linking plug-in, improved performance and it doesn't stop there! With well over twenty JCK extensions, there's twenty more reasons why you should choose JCK! The project is now officially the most advanced and widely supported editor on the JED (Joomla! Extensions Directory)!

Improving its reliability

But with all these advancements it been time to take a step back and so we've put the latest release through its paces, with 3 phases of testing! We've worked on improving its reliability by removing its reliance on the MooTools DomReady event (which should minimise the possibility of Java-Script framework conflicts with MooTools). It now conforms to PHP5's strict compliance (this was done to better support Xamp which is a easy to install Apache distribution containing MySQL, PHP and Perl) and have worked hard to improve its maturity with the new Joomla! 1.6 framework.
